This is a first for Bangladeshi films: Mim
Bidya Sinha Mim will be returning to the silver screen after a break, with Dipankar Dipon's directorial film "Antarjal". The film is expected to be released on September 8.
Mim told The Daily Star, "This is a completely new genre for our film industry, it is the first cyber-crime thriller film in Bangladesh."
The former Lux Superstar is eagerly waiting for the film and hopes that the audience will enjoy the cinema.
Recently her performance in the web-series, "Mission Huntdown", has been much appreciated. "Nira, the character I played in the series has been accepted and loved by people, and I am grateful to them for such love," said Mim, who recently went on a vacation at a resort in Gazipur with her husband and family.
"I love to be closer to nature. Whenever I get time, I immediately make a plan with my family and go on a vacation," said Mim, adding that during Eid vacation she had a fever and had to stay at home.
What attracted her most during the vacation in Gazipur? Mim shared that the green surroundings and rainy weather is what she loves the most. "Monsoon is my favourite season, and I loved the green environment and had a great time with my loved ones."
After "Poran" and "Damal" her career took a new turn. It is expected that "Antarjal" will be another landmark in her career. The audience have to wait until September to discover Mim in a new avatar.
