Ferdous becomes goodwill ambassador for BFSA
Actor Ferdous Ahmed has been appointed as a goodwill ambassador by the government agency, Bangladesh Food Safety Authority (BFSA).
On Thursday (April 13), Ferdous signed the appointment agreement to be a goodwill ambassador for the organisation, in the training room of the BFSA. This is the first time the actor has become a goodwill ambassador for a government institution.
Speaking to the media, Ferdous shared that he had taken on this position due to his sense of responsibility and that he was proud to get the opportunity to contribute to the food security of the country. According to reports, the actor has joined the organisation for the next one year, and the BFSA hopes to extend his term further in the future.
BFSA Chairman, MD Abdul Qayyum Sarkar told the media that the safe food authority wants to make everyone aware about food, and teach through training. In that aspect, they hope that Ferdous will be able to help them greatly.
