Bill Gates to appear virtually in popular Indian TV show
Microsoft founder and billionaire Bill Gates is making a surprise appearance on Indian television—but with a meaningful purpose. Gates will appear virtually in the hit family drama "Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2", using the platform to discuss maternal and newborn health issues.
A newly released promo shows the show's lead character, Tulsi Virani, played by Smriti Irani, will connect with Gates via video call. Tulsi greets Gates with "Jai Shri Krishna," and he responds warmly, "Namaste, Tulsi ji. Jai Shri Krishna."

Gates's cameo isn't just for entertainment. The billionaire has appeared on TV before—most notably on the American sitcom "The Big Bang Theory".

Produced by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms, the show captured the hearts of millions. After 17 years, the series made its comeback this year, bringing back familiar faces and storylines.
The special episode featuring Bill Gates will air on Thursday night at 10:30 PM on Star Plus. It will also be available for streaming on Jio Hotstar.
