The Bangladesh Film Archive (BFA)—the national archive that records all films, media and visual content created in Bangladesh—has recently celebrated its 45th founding anniversary yesterday.

Present as the Chief Guest of the event was the Secretary of Information and Broadcasting, Humayun Kabir Khandaker. He shared, "The Bangladesh Film Archive has been constantly working towards archiving the film, media and visual content created within the country for the last 45 years."

Former Director General of Bangladesh Film Archive and retired Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Kamrun Nahar; Additional Secretary (Film) of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Jahangir Alam; director Syed Salahuddin Zaki, as well as noted cultural persona Nasir Uddin Yusuff attended the event as special guests, amongst many others.

Furthermore, many renowned celebrities of the film industry were also present at the event, including Dilara Zaman, Aruna Biswas, Nader Chowdhury, Ali Raj, Jhuna Chowdhury, Zayed Khan, Jyotika Jyoti, Pankaj Palit, Kawsar Chowdhury, and Prasoon Rahmaan, amongst many others.
