Bangladeshi films now receiving global reviews: Shakib Khan

"There was a time when only local audiences reviewed our films, but that scenario has now changed," said Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan on Sunday (March 16) afternoon. He made the remarks at a hotel in the capital during the announcement of Lily Halal Beauty Soap's BSTI certification.
He further added, "For several years now, I've been noticing that international audiences are reviewing Bangladeshi films, and it's increasing day by day. Especially, people from India, Pakistan, America, and Europe are reviewing the teasers and songs of my films. This indicates that foreigners' interest in Bangladeshi culture has grown."
"The poster, teaser, and songs of the movie 'Borbaad' have been well received by everyone. There's already significant interest generated around the film. Undoubtedly, this is something that makes me feel good," Shakib Khan added.
Cricketers Taskin Ahmed and Tanzid Hasan, along with actresses Bidya Sinha Mim, Sabnam Faria, Keya Payel, and actor Mamnun Emon, were present at the event.
