Apu Biswas starrer 'Laal Shari' shines in Kolkata
Kolkata's vibrant cultural center, Nandan, is buzzing with excitement as the much-awaited Bangladesh Film Festival commences. The festival, showcasing 45 films from Bangladesh, has attracted a sizable crowd.
Amid the bustling festival atmosphere, the spotlight was on the popular Dhallywood actress, Apu Biswas, who graced Kolkata to attend the screening of her movie, "Laal Shaari." The anticipation was palpable as fans eagerly waited for the film's screening at Nandan-1, and as the entrance opened, the theater swiftly filled to capacity.
Apu Biswas, accompanied by co-actor Symon Sadiq and director Bandhan Biswas, thoroughly enjoyed the film's screening with the Kolkata audience.
Dressed elegantly in a red saree, Apu Biswas paid tribute to her film's title, "Laal Shaari," which translates to "Red Saree," with the phrase imprinted on her saree.
The grand inauguration of the fifth Bangladesh Film Festival took place on the evening of July 27 at Nandan, Kolkata.
With a lineup of 45 films, including five documentaries and two short films, the festival aims to celebrate the artistic brilliance and diverse storytelling of Bangladeshi cinema.
