After Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan', Kartik starrer ‘Shehzada’ set to storm Box Office
"Pathaan," Shah Rukh Khan's comeback movie, shattered all Box Office records and became one of the biggest Bollywood blockbusters. The action film has been edging closer to the coveted Rs 1 billion milestone. All eyes are now focused on Kartik Aaryan's movie "Shehzada," which was released today, for smashing box office records after "Pathaan's" tremendous performance.
"Shehzada", starring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon, is a remake of 2020 Telugu film "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo," which stars Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde.
Joginder Tuteja, a trade analyst, said: "Market views of a family movie like "Shehzada" are excellent. This kind of movie hasn't been released in far too long. Kartik has developed some solid followings with family audiences over time. The family crowd returned to the theaters when "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2" was released. The family audience is back in the theaters thanks to the success of "Shehzada," a movie that deals with families and checks all the necessary boxes. I am confident that "Shehzada" will get off to a strong start and continue for a very long period."
According to sources, "Shehzada" sold 11,400 tickets on its first day alone, and that was across three significant national multiplex chains. While Shehzada's advance booking for its opening day showed a promising trend, trade predictions claim that single-screen theaters in mass-dominant circuits and spot bookings will give the movie's revenue a significant boost.
Shehzada also stars Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Manisha Koirala, Ronit Roy and Sachin Khedekar in key roles.
