Souls to celebrate 50th anniversary with 50 songs
To mark their 50th anniversary as a band, Souls have announced an exciting plan for their fans. Tomorrow, they will hold a press conference, unveiling a new logo designed specifically for this occasion. During the press conference, the band will also announce their comprehensive two-year plan, outlining their upcoming ventures.
"Alongside the new logo, we have devised a two-year plan to commemorate our 50th anniversary. We aim to release a total of 50 songs during this period, comprising 20 new tracks and 30 re-releases of our timeless classics. We have already prepared 10 songs for release, all of which will be accompanied by captivating music videos," said the bass guitarist of the band, Maruf Hasan Real.
Maruf Hasan further revealed that the band's upcoming releases might feature previous members alongside current ones, as well as collaborations with talented artists from outside the band. Fans can expect a steady stream of song releases starting this month, with a grand concert slated for the end of 2024, to culminate their celebratory journey.
In addition to these milestone celebrations, Souls have lined up international concerts in England and Australia, scheduled for July and September, respectively. Furthermore, they have numerous performances planned in both local and foreign locations, with further details to be disclosed during the press conference.
Souls' current lineup includes Naseem Ali Khan on vocals, Partha Barua on vocals and lead guitar, Ahsanur Rahman Ashiq on drums, Meer Masum on keyboard, and Maruf Hasan Real on bass guitar. With their immense talent and a rich musical legacy spanning five decades, Souls continues to captivate audiences worldwide, leaving an enduring mark on the music industry.
