Tom Holland confirms marriage to Zendaya
Actor Tom Holland has confirmed that he and longtime partner Zendaya are married, putting months of speculation surrounding the couple’s relationship to rest.
The rumours gained momentum earlier this year after Zendaya’s stylist, Law Roach, suggested in a red carpet interview that the wedding had already taken place. The couple, who became engaged in late 2024, had not publicly addressed the reports.
In a recent interview with Esquire, Holland reflected on a series of AI-generated wedding photos that circulated online and attracted widespread attention. He recalled that his grandmother was briefly upset after believing she had not been invited to the ceremony.
When asked whether he had to reassure other family members, Holland responded, “No, because they were all there,” before declining to elaborate further.
The actor did, however, speak openly about his relationship with Zendaya, describing it as a source of stability amid the pressures of public life.
“Our business can present very stressful situations and it’s really nice to have a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time,” Holland said. He added that the pair are able to support one another in unique ways because they share similar experiences in the entertainment industry.
“For me, I found my person. She’s my best friend, and I’m the happiest I have ever been when I’m with her,” he said.
Holland and Zendaya first met while working on “Spider-Man: Homecoming”. Recalling her audition, Holland praised her performance, saying she secured the role almost immediately.
The actor is next set to appear in “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”, which is scheduled for release later this year.
