Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today expressed deep shock at the death of valiant freedom fighter and eminent singer-composer Lucky Akhand.

In a condolence message, the prime minister recalled the contribution of Lucky Akhand to the field of music and the Liberation War.

The 61-year-old singer breathed his last at Sir Salimullah Medical College and Mitford Hospital here this evening.
