80,000 Yaba pills recovered in Teknaf
Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in separate drives arrested a Myanmar citizen and recovered 80,000 pieces of Yaba tablet from different areas in Teknaf upazila of Cox's Bazar district today.
BGB-2 Battalion Commanding Officer Lt Col Abu Jar Al Zahid said a team of the border force after tipped off conducted a drive in Jadimora area of the upazila and arrested Abdus Salam, a resident of Mongdu thana in the Arakan state of Myanmar, along with 30,000 pieces of Yaba tablet around 5:30am.
Afterwards, the same team conducted another drive in Jalia Dwip area of the upazila and recovered 50,000 pieces of Yaba tablet around 8:30am.
