At least four people were killed and as many injured as a truck rammed a three-wheeler human hauler in Rajoir upazila of Madaripur this morning.
Identities of the victims could not be learnt immediately.
The accident took place around 6: 45am on Dhaka-Barisal highway in Tekerhat area when a truck collided head-on with the human hauler, said Mizanur Rahman, assistant sub-inspector of Sendiaghat police outpost.
Four passengers of human hauler died on the spot and four others were injured during the accident, a correspondent from Madaripur reports quoting the ASI.
The injured victims were rushed to Rajoir Upazia Health Complex.
