Police recovered 23 bombs from a house in Bhogra area of Gazipur city and picked up two people in this connection today.

Acting on a tip-off, police raided the house at Bhogra around 11:00am and recovered 20 crude bombs and three petrol bombs from there, our correspondent reports quoting Khandaker Rezaul Hasan Reza, officer-in-charge of Joydebpur Police Station.

Police also picked up Md Farid Uddin, 48, owner of the house, and caretaker Sohel Rana, 22, for interrogation.

No case was filed yet in this connection.
