Bullet-hit body found in Madaripur

The bullet-hit body of a man, who is an accused in at least 15 cases, were recovered from Madaripur Sadar upazila this morning.

Informed by locals, police recovered the bullet-hit body of Sagar Fakir alias Kala Sagar, 30, from Mohisherchar area around 9:00am, our Faridpur correspondent reports quoting Md. Bodrul Alam Mollah, assistant superintendent of police in Madaripur.

The victim’s mother Saleha Begum said," Sagar worked in Dhaka as a tailor worker. He was arrested in a drug case and released from Madaripur jail few days ago.”

“He became traceless after he went to Dhaka recently. I don’t know how he was killed,"Saleha added.

Hailing from Dorgashorif area in Madaripur town, Sagar was accused in cases including robbery and drug ones filed with different police stations.

Police recovered a firearms from the spot.
