President, PM condole death of Razzak

President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina have expressed deep shock at the death of legendary Bangla film actor Razzak.

In a condolence message, Abdul Hamid said Razzak will ever be remembered for his outstanding contributions to the Bangla film industry, UNB adds.

"His (Razzak) contributions will be remembered from one generation to another for his role in spreading Bangali culture across the world through his movies," he said.

In her condolence message, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina recalled his contributions to the film industry saying that Razzak was bright star in Bangla film and it was irreparable loss in the film society due to his death. 

She prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family members.

Besides, Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury and BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia expressed their deep shocks at the death of the film actor.

Razzak breathed his last at United Hospital in the capital this evening.
