Bus runs over motorcycle in Natore, 3 killed

Three persons were killed when a bus ran over their motorcycle on Bonpara-Hatikumrul road in Gurudaspur upazila of Natore today.

Deceased Rakibul Islam, 18, Bayezid Hossain, 16, and Abdul Hakim, 13, were residents of Gurudaspurupazila.

A Jessore-bound bus ran over a motorcycle in Kanchikata bridge area at Bonpara, leaving its three riders dead on the spot, ourNatore correspondent reports quoting Samsun Noor, officer-in-charge of Bonpara Highway Police Station. 

The engine of the motorcycle exploded when it was crushed by the bus around12:30pm. Immediately after that, the bus caught fire, the OC said.

However, the bus passengers remained unharmed.  

On information,fire fighters rushed to the spot and doused the fire.

The bodies were sent to Natore Sadar Hospital forautopsy.
