Daylong free eye camp organised on Faraaz’s birthday

Faraaz Hossain Foundation organised a day-long free eye screening camp on Shah-Ali Majar road of Mirpur-1 in Dhaka on the occasion of Faraaz’s 22nd birthday today.

Remembering Faraaz Ayaaz Hossain, who was among the 20 hostages killed during the 12-hour long Gulshan cafe siege on July 1 in 2016, his brother Zaraif Ayaat Hossain said, “This is our way of keeping Faraaz’s memory alive.”

Celebrated film actress Bobita was also among those present at the programme organised in collaboration with Distressed Children and Infants International (DCI) of the USA and its Bangladesh chapter Rights and Sight for Children (RSC) .

The Faraaz Hossain Foundation will conduct philanthropic activities such as the free eye camp throughout the country.
