Bangladeshi MD Candidate makes it to Forbes 30 Under 30 US 2026
Syed Rakin Ahmed, an MD-PhD Candidate at Dartmouth and Harvard, has been named in Forbes 30 under 30 United States 2026, for his research aimed towards creating AI models to help diagnose cancer and create precise treatments for it. He graduated with a PhD in Biophysics at Harvard Medical School in May 2024, and is currently in his final year at Dartmouth.
The Forbes 30 under 30 US is an influential list that honours 600 of the most notable young entrepreneurs, leaders, and changemakers under the age of 30 to shine a spotlight on their achievements. The featured individuals are selected from around 20,000 nominations from around the world, and are chosen through months of thorough research by reporters before shortlisted candidates are sent to a panel of four independent judges, who are experts in their respective fields.
The list has been published annually since 2011, and honours individuals across various categories such as sports, music, media, AI, finance, social media, retail and ecommerce, energy and green tech, manufacturing and industry, healthcare, art and style, Hollywood and entertainment, education, social impact, transportation and aerospace, games, food and drink, science, marketing and advertising, and venture capital.
