Samsung launches AI-powered French door refrigerator in Bangladesh
Samsung Bangladesh has launched its first French door refrigerator with built-in AI capability in the country.
The model, RF59, was unveiled at the RANGS eMART showroom in Gulshan-2, says a press release.
Shahriar Bin Lutfor, head of business of the consumer electronics division at Samsung Bangladesh, attended the event.
Anika Rahman, chief manager of product planning, and Rajib Das Gupta, deputy general manager of retail strategy, were also present.
Sardar Md Khaled bin Hasan, executive director, Golam Azam Khan, head of sales, and Md Shariful Islam, general manager of Rangs Industries Limited attended the programme.
The RF59 features a flat-door design and a 649-litre storage capacity.
It includes AI Energy Mode, which adjusts power consumption based on usage patterns.
The refrigerator also supports SmartThings connectivity, allowing users to monitor and control functions through a mobile application.
The model includes Power Cool and Power Freeze functions for faster cooling.
Samsung said the refrigerator is designed to fit modern kitchen spaces while offering energy efficiency and smart features.
