Stocks advanced in the morning trade after suffering losses yesterday. 

The DSEX, the premier index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, added 12.23 points or 0.23 percent to 5,194.04 as of 11 am. 

Some 218 issues advanced, 72 declined, and 73 remained unchanged. 

Total turnover stood at Tk 63.87 crore. 

Associated Oxygen Limited led the gains, rising over 9 percent, while shares of Prime fell over 9 percent.

CSE All Share Price Index was up 0.06 percent, gaining 9.62 points to 14,548.14.
