Energypac subsidiary starts producing electricity

Energypac Power Venture Thakurgaon Ltd, a subsidiary of Energypac Power Generation Ltd (EPGL), has started the commercial operation of its heavy fuel oil-based 115-megawatt independent power plant in Thakurgaon.

The initial agreement of the company with the Bangladesh Power Development Board is 15 years, said the parent company in a posting on the Dhaka Stock Exchange today.
