Stocks declined in the early trade today following a moderate gain the previous session. 

The DSEX, the premier index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, was shed 42.71 points or 0.80 percent to 5,155.10 as of 11:04 am. 

The market went in the downturn after the opening and 46 issues advanced, 266 declined, and 63 remained unchanged in the first hour. 

Total turnover stood at Tk 73.80 crore. 

Miracle Industries led the gains, rising over 9 percent, while share price of Prime Finance First Mutual Fund dropped over 6 percent.

CSE All Share Price Index was fell 0.23 percent, losing 33.80 points to14,547.30.
