Amin Mohammad Group Chairman MM Enamul Haque passed away last night in Dhaka at the age of 64.

 

Amin Mohammad Group Chairman MM Enamul Haque passed away last night in Dhaka at the age of 64.

Haque breathed his last at his residence in Gulshan at 11:18 pm.

He was born on December 1, 1958 in Dakshin Medenimandal village in Louhajang upazila of Munshiganj.

Haque established the Amin Mohammad Group, one of the country's leading housing companies.

He was buried at Banani graveyard after a namaz-e-janaza at Gulshan Society Mosque at 10 am today.

Before the janaza, Haque's sons Ramzanul Haque Nihad and Aminul Haque Nabil urged for prayers for the departed of soul of their father, said Gazi Ahmed Ullah, publisher of Shomoyer Alo, a publication of Amin Mohammad Group.

Beximco Group Chairman Salman F Rahman, also advisor to prime minister on private investment and industry, also spoke there, Ullah said.

Haque survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter.

The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) expressed condolences for the death of Haque.

"We extend our deepest condolences to the bereaved family," FBCCI President Md Jashim Uddin said in a message.

Haque was general council member of the FBCCI.
