Tk 300cr to fight earthquake

Finance Minister AMA Muhith proposed to keep a block allocation of Tk 300 crores for managing risks arising out of earthquake.

He said, like previous years, they have made a block allocation for certain specific purposes of risk arising out of earthquake, women entrepreneurship, women development, skill development and poverty reduction activities of three foundations.

Apart from earthquake special allocation, Tk 100 crores for women entrepreneurship, Tk 25 crores for women development, Tk 100 crores for skill development, Tk 10 crores for NGO Foundation, Tk 250 crores for PKSF and Tk 10 crores for SME Foundation have given as special allocation in the proposed budget.
