Fazlur Rahman Milon, 42, activist of the youth wing of the ruling party, was wounded in the attack believed to be a result of factional feud.

The attackers hurled two bombs and left the spot, he said, adding, Liton died in Faridpur on way to Dhaka.

The victim had several marks of knife wounds in his body, hospital sources said.

Ramjanul Islam, Liton's cousin, filed a case with Kotwali police against 15 named and 10-12 unnamed people.
