Swagata has her hands full

Swagata is no one-trick pony: over the years, she has proved her mettle in acting, singing modeling and anchoring. For the upcoming Eid, Swagata has a number of projects on hand, and is spending busy times in finishing those projects. 

Recently, she completed the shoot of a seven-episode miniseries “Hero Bhaiyer Heroine” where she will play the lead. Excited about the role, Swagata shared, “It was a fun project to work with, and I am the heroine in the play.”  

Her other TV plays are “Sublet” directed by Dayel Rahman, “Shundori Komola” directed by Suman Anwar and  more to come. Talking about “Shundori Komola” Swagata said, “The play will depict a story of a Baul family and I am a member of the family. I am going to sing in the play.” 

She will also be hosting a musical show, Swagata told The Daily Star. The show will air songs of singers like Kona, Konal and Salma. She said, “The specialty of this show is, all the singers have sung Lalon songs. The show will be telecast by Banglavision. I hope viewers will like it.”
