Sharon Osbourne confirms split with Ozzy
Sharon Osbourne confirms her separation after 33-years of marriage with Ozzy Osbourne in a talkshow called ‘The Talk’ on Tuesday, reports abc News.
"I'm not with him," Sharon revealed, as she sipped on a glass of lemonade. "I just need time to really think about myself...what do I really want for the rest of my life."
"I honestly cannot thank people enough for their backing me, for saying they love me, for everybody here at my home supporting me [and] sending me messages of love," she continued.
Sharon, 63, noted that she is "doing great," despite how stressful the past few days have been because of the media attention.
"Honestly I'm empowered and I have found this inner strength," Sharon said. "I'm like 'right, okay, what's next?' I can handle this."
Sharon also confirmed that she recently kicked Ozzy out of their house.
"The Talk" co-host explained that she and Ozzy are still on speaking terms even though they are no longer living together, and noted that she can't say for certain that she and Ozzy will split for good.
"I love Ozzy dearly," Sharon said. "[But] at this point I can't answer that because I don't know what I want."
This is not the first time the couple has faced reports of relationship troubles.
In 2013, both Sharon and Ozzy, 67, defended their marriage amid reports that they were divorcing.
Ozzy, who admitted that he had been struggling with addiction issues at the time, said then of the rumors, "Just to set the record straight, Sharon and I are not divorcing. I'm just trying to be a better person."
Sharon also denied the divorce reports then, echoing her husband's statement and saying that "everything that was printed in the tabloids has been distorted."
"We've dealt with worse and we will deal with it and this too shall pass," Sharon said.
Sharon and Ozzy met in the early '70s as he rose to fame with the band Black Sabbath. Sharon later became the rocker's manager.
The couple wed in 1982 and have three kids together: Aimee, 32, Kelly, 31, and Jack, 30.
