Fox releases trailer for 'Victor Frankenstein'

20th Century Fox has released the trailer for its upcoming film "Victor Frankenstein," starring James McAvoy and Daniel Radcliffe.

The film has seen several potential start dates -- originally planned for fall 2014, then early 2015 -- according to Slashfilm.com. However, the new take on author Mary Shelley's 1818 classic is set to hit theaters on November 25. The date coincides with Thanksgiving weekend in the US.

Much like the original version, the 2015 film sees Frankenstein (played by McAvoy) create a monster from an unorthodox experiment, with the help of his faithful protégé Igor (played by Radcliffe).

Also starring in the upcoming film are Jessica Brown Findlay ("Downton Abbey"), Andrew Scott and Freddie Fox. It is directed by Paul McGuigan and written by Max Landis.
