MG HS Hybrid+ and Super Hybrid launched in Bangladesh
MG Bangladesh has launched two new hybrid sport utility vehicles in Bangladesh, the MG HS Hybrid+ and the MG HS Super Hybrid (PHEV). The models start from BDT 49 lakh, while the plug-in Super Hybrid version (PHEV) is priced at BDT 59 lakh.
According to the company, the MG HS Hybrid+ is powered by an intelligent hybrid system producing 221.3 BHP and automatically switches between electric and petrol modes depending on driving conditions. The model is claimed to deliver a real-world fuel efficiency of up to around 23.8 kilometres per litre.
On the other hand, the MG HS Super Hybrid (PHEV) comes with a 24.7 kWh battery, offering more than 120 kilometres of pure electric driving range. With a full fuel tank and battery charge combined, the vehicle provides a total driving range of over 1,000 kilometres.
Both models feature a fully digital interior, including a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. Built on a 2,720mm wheelbase, the SUVs offer a boot capacity of 507 litres, expandable to over 1,484 litres. Safety features include seven airbags, Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems, and a PM2.5 air filtration system.
