Claude AI faces worldwide outage

Claude AI, the popular chatbot by AI company Anthropic, is currently experiencing outages, with users reporting elevated errors across multiple services, including claude.ai, the Cowork platform, and Claude Code.

According to Claude's official status checker, the company began investigating the issue at 9:15 AM Bangladesh time on March 3. Subsequent updates at 10:39 AM, 10:41 AM, and 10:43 AM Bangladesh time all indicated that the investigation was ongoing with no resolution yet reported.

At the time of writing, the status page lists the incident as "unresolved" and notes "elevated errors" across the platform.

Downdetector data shows user reports began surfacing from 5:23 PM Bangladesh time on March 2, with a peak of 3,888 reports recorded at 10:08 AM on March 3.

Users attempting to access Claude are shown an error message stating: "Claude will return soon. Claude is currently experiencing a temporary service disruption. We're working on it, please check back soon."

Anthropic has not yet provided an estimated time for restoration of service.
