BYD launches upgraded Atto 3 in Bangladesh

BYD, the New Energy Vehicle (NEV) manufacturer, has officially launched the upgraded version of its Atto 3, the electric SUV, at an event held on September 20 at the BYD Flagship Showroom in Tejgaon, Dhaka.
According to BYD, the Atto 3 is equipped with Lithium Iron Phosphate Blade Battery, capable of charging from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes using a DC fast charger.
The upgraded edition also introduces a redesigned Thaumas Black interior with ventilated front seats, new black-housed headlights, a rim design with 18-inch tyres, and a 12V Low Voltage LFP battery. Built on the e-Platform 3.0, the vehicle features a Euro NCAP 5-star safety rating and comes with up to seven airbags alongside ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), as per BYD.

The BYD Atto 3 comes in two range variants:
Standard Range: This variant is priced at BDT 49.90 lakh and will go up to 345 kilometres (km) on a full charge.
Extended Range: This variant is priced at BDT 55.90 lakh and will go up to 420 km on a full charge.
According to BYD, the Atto 3 comes with a warranty of eight years or 160,000 km for the traction battery, eight years or 150,000 km for the motor and motor controller, and six years or 150,000 km for the vehicle itself.
From September 21 to 25, BYD Bangladesh will host 'Atto 3 Week', allowing customers to test the upgraded vehicle.
