The Department of Media Studies & Journalism (MSJ) at University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) organised “Trashion Show” – a fashion show where students crafted different outfits and accessories using recycled waste materials.
This year’s sessions will be facilitated by eminent academics, writers, and professionals in their field, such as Professor Kaiser Haq, Professor Syed Manzoorul Islam, Professor Azfar Hussain, Professor Shamsad Mortuza, Arifa Ghani Rahman, and Maisha Hossain.
The event is being hosted today, October 12, between 5 and 7 pm at The Auditorium, 6th Floor of ULAB Research Building, House 56, Road 4/A Dhanmondi. It is open for all.
The 2022 Inter-University Student Conference and Cultural Competition explored different facets of conflict and avenues for conflict resolution on topics within literature, language, linguistics, cultural studies, communication studies, translation studies, and digital humanities.

Opener and captain Md Hasanuzzaman gave ULAB a blazing start with 35 runs off 17 balls before Niloy’s 28 from 23 balls got them very close to the 153-run target.
