Eriksson, a charismatic coach who led Swedish, Portuguese and Italian clubs to major trophies in the 1980s and 1990s before taking on the England job in 2001, announced earlier this year that he was terminally ill with pancreatic cancer.
Eriksson revealed in January he had "best case a year" to live after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
Ex-England football manager Sven-Goran Eriksson has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and has at best "maybe a year" to live, he said Thursday.
"Sweden are not playing the best football in the world, but to score against them is very difficult." says Eriksson.
