Thirteen years have passed since the night of horror at Ramu in Cox’s Bazar, when zealots set ablaze centuries-old Buddhist temples, looted homes and spread fear among the minority community.
We are deeply frustrated that none of the cases filed in connection with the Ramu violence have yet been disposed of.
This is yet another disturbing headline that highlights a pattern of violence against minority communities.
