The cabinet yesterday approved in principle the Public Procurement (4th Amendment) Act-2016, incorporating a provision for bidders not to quote a price 10 percent lower or higher than the official estimated price of a public procurement tender.
The Supreme Court Bar Association yesterday demanded restoration of the caretaker government system claiming the judgment, which scrapped the provision, was illegal and unconstitutional.
