New Super Market, Gausia and Chandni Chawk reopens
After the fire was extinguished completely, the Dhaka New Super Market was handed over to the police at around 10:00am today. Since early morning, the affected traders started crowding in front of the market. Many hoped that some goods might have been saved from the fire. But they could not find anything except burnt debris

Numerous shops and goods at the capital's New Super Market were destroyed in a catastrophic fire. 30 firefighting units, along with teams from army, navy, air force, Rab, BGB, police, and local volunteers brought the blaze under control.
