After taking the oath of office yesterday, several ministers said that economic reforms, improvement of law and order, and good governance would be among the top priorities of the new government.

While all our expectations from this pivotal moment may not have been fulfilled, we have, nevertheless, obtained a roadmap for moving forward. Bangladesh is soon going to have a parliament with members elected through a largely credible competition.
