The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) is eager to have cricket at the 2026 Asian Games in Japan and is exploring the idea of converting a baseball stadium in Nagoya for this purpose.
Japan yesterday assured Bangladesh that it would fulfil its commitment to provide $6 billion, of which $1.5 billion would be released this year. Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe gave the assurance during an official bilateral meeting with his Bangladeshi counterpart Sheikh Hasina in Nagoya.
