Rajuk yesterday reclaimed basement parking spaces of a handful of buildings in Gulshan, Dhanmondi, and Uttara and sealed off illegal commercial set ups there during mobile court eviction drives.
Rajuk from January 18 is going to start a drive against buildings in Uttara, Dhanmondi, Gulshan and Banani areas that use their designated parking space for other purposes.
The High Court directed the government to immediately stop demolition of four ancient buildings dating back to the Mughal era in Old Dhaka today.
