Around 180 passengers of a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight have been stranded in Dubai for nearly two days since Tuesday night, after their scheduled aircraft developed a technical fault.
Now at least four of its 10 widebody planes remain grounded, three Boeing 787s and one Boeing 777.
The authorities at the Kolkata airport have rejected Biman’s claim that they did not permit the deplaning of passengers from a Biman flight left stranded at the airport for four hours on July 18 due to a technical glitch.
