The High Court yesterday said the Prothom Alo has the right to get justice because it had corrected the mistake it made in an online report on March 26.

The High Court today granted a six-week anticipatory bail to Prothom Alo Editor and Publisher Matiur Rahman in a case filed against him under the Digital Security Act

The High court scraps its earlier order that granted anticipatory bail to former Supreme Court judge Justice Md Joynul in connection with a notice issued in 2010 by Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) seeking his bank statements.
