Electro Mart Group, the country's leading manufacturer and marketer of electronics products, has been dealing Gree AC in the Bangladeshi market over last 25 years with credibility, reputation and trust. The group made a plan to export the air conditioner in the South Asian countries within 2028.
We think the government's policy-support in the pre-corona period was quite favorable for electronics manufacturing. There are VAT & Tax exemptions on the manufacturing stage of various home appliances products till 2023. Besides, we demand to reduce the duty and tax rate imposed at the import level. We request the government to extend the benefits provided here for another 7-10 years. It will attract foreign investors.
