A two-day wellness festival focusing on mental health, mindfulness, movement, and community engagement will be held at Gulshan Club on May 22–23.

Organised by The Flow Fest in partnership with Gulshan Club, the “Wellness Festival 2026” aims to bring together people from different walks of life to explore healthier lifestyles and emotional wellbeing. The event will begin at 10:00am each day at Gulshan Club in Gulshan-2, Dhaka.

According to the organisers, the festival is designed around four pillars — mindfulness, movement, creativity, and connection. Activities will include yoga, meditation, sound healing, breathwork, dance, boxing, self-defence sessions, nutrition talks, theatre performances, art workshops, poetry slam, and open mic sessions.

The organisers said the event comes at a time when increasing numbers of people in Dhaka are becoming more aware of the importance of mental and emotional wellbeing alongside physical health. They also noted that discussions around workplace wellness and mental health are gradually becoming more prominent among corporate leaders and policymakers.

We curated this festival because we want people to know that there are a hundred ways to heal and stay healthy. It’s important to explore what’s out there and find what resonates, and build a community around it, because we heal through connection, not in isolation.

The organisers added that no prior experience will be required for participation, describing the festival as an inclusive space open to all age groups and backgrounds.

The event will also follow an eco-friendly approach, avoiding PVC materials, meat products, and plastic waste.

Founded by author and wellness advocate Shazia Omar, The Flow Fest describes itself as a wellness platform promoting healthier lifestyles through yoga, retreats, corporate wellness programmes, and community-based events. The organisation says it has built a community of more than 40,000 members through its activities over the years.
