T20 World Cup's Super 12 schedule
ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia began with its preliminary phase from October 16 to October 21 as eight teams in Round 1, split into two groups, fought for four places to enter the 12-team Super 12 phase. And after a string of highly contested encounters, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe topped the table while the Netherlands and Ireland qualified as runners-up from Group A and B, respectively.
Following the completion of Round 1, the results mean that Bangladesh are placed alongside India, Pakistan, South Africa, Zimbabwe and the Netherlands in Group 2, while hosts Australia, Afghanistan, England, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and Ireland are placed in Group 1.
