Tuesday’s BPL fixtures rescheduled again
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed that the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) T20 2026 matches scheduled for Tuesday have been rescheduled to January 4 in Sylhet.
The decision was taken in line with the general holiday declared by the government of Bangladesh on the first of three days of national mourning for former prime minister Begum Khaleda Zia, who passed away earlier on Tuesday.
The matches scheduled for January 1 and 2 at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium will proceed as planned.
The BPL governing council will issue a revised itinerary covering matches scheduled from January 5 onwards in due course.
As per the BPL schedule, the Chattogram phase was supposed to begin on January 5, but it is now set to be deferred.
The governing council had previously informed that the Tuesday's games were rescheduled to Wednesday.
