Downpour cuts short Bangladesh’s first training session for Hong Kong tie

The skies opened up over the capital on Tuesday afternoon, drenching the National Stadium in a torrential downpour that cut short Bangladesh's first training session for the Asian Cup Qualifiers fixture against Hong Kong, China at home on October 9.
The men in red and green pushed through their warm-ups and stretches before the storm forced players, coaches and staff to scatter for cover, their drills cut short by sheets of rain.
Hong Kong currently sit second in Group C with four points, level with leaders Singapore, while Bangladesh are third with one point, just above India on goal difference. Bangladesh have yet to beat Hong Kong in four previous meetings, managing only two draws. So far in this campaign, Javier Cabrera's side held India 0-0 before losing 2-1 to Singapore. The return leg against Hong Kong comes quickly on October 14 in Hong Kong.
