Sifat Ullah Galib and Mustakim Hossain emerged as champions in the doubles event of the South Asian (U-15 & U-17) Regional Junior Championship, beating an Indian pair in the final in Guwahati, Assam.

Galib and Mustakim beat Garg Abhinav and Koundilya Prateek by two sets to one in the U-15 final of the competition organised by Badminton Asia, a press release from the Bangladesh Badminton Federation read.

Galib and Mustakim had beaten Nepalese pair Sahil Chand and Kabir KC 21-10 and 21-08 in two sets to reach the doubles final.
