Shamit confident as Bangladesh gear up for Hong Kong clash

Canada-based midfielder Shamit Shome arrived in Dhaka on Tuesday night to join the Bangladesh national football team ahead of their Asian Cup Qualifying fixture against Hong Kong, China.
The 27-year-old will have only one training session with the team before Thursday's match at the National Stadium.
"I'm hopeful we can do well against Hong Kong," Shamit told reporters at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport upon arrival.
"They are a good side and we have to play well. Let's see what happens. However, we have good chances to do well and win both matches against them," he added, expressing confidence in the team's preparation.
