Former Australia cricketer and legend Shane Warne hit a porn star in the face during a row inside a night club in London, media claims.

The glamour model named Valerie Fox, aged 30, tweeted photos of the injuries and bruises to her face. Her twitter post read: “Proud of yourself? Hitting a woman? Vile creature.”

On Friday night, the model was seen arguing with Warne inside the bar. At one point she fell to the floor holding her face, The Sun reported. The alleged attack is said to have taken place at Loulou's, a lavish bar in Mayfair.

She also tweeted: “Absolutely traumatised by tonight's events, being a victim of assault is horrible and I thank the @metpoliceuk for their help & support.

Valerie Fox posted a photo of a Metropolitan police incident card which read ‘assault’ as the crime which was to be investigated.

“And no, I'm not lying. Just because you're famous doesn't mean you can hit women and get away with it," the model tweeted.

A Metropolitan Police statement read: 'Detectives are investigating an allegation of assault alleged to have taken place in a nightclub on Hertford Street in Westminster in the early hours of Saturday.'

'There have been no arrests and inquiries continue.'

Police are reportedly looking at CCTV footages to investigate the crime.

Media outlets like Sun and The Daily Mail are yet to get any statements from Warne’s representatives.
