Tigresses post record ODI total against Scotland

Nigar Sultana Joty scored an unbeaten 59-ball 83 as Bangladesh posted their highest-ever WODI against Scotland in an ICC Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Tuesday.
The Tigresses posted 276-6, surpassing their previous best of 271-3 scored against Thailand last week, as they look for their third win in the tournament.
Fargana Hoque (57 off 84 balls) and Sharmin Akhter (57 off 79 balls) also scored half-centuries and the duo together a 103-run stand after the loss of opener Ishma Tanjim (14 off 29 balls). Fahima Khatun, who scored a 22-ball 26, finished off the innings on a high with the help of Joty.
Kathryn Bryce was the pick of bowlers for Scotland as she scalped two wickets for 53 runs.
Bangladesh won both their previous matches against Thailand and Ireland, respectively, and a win today will take them to the top of the standings.
